The historic Howell Nurseries are home to the Knoxville Botanical Gardens. The property, which dates back to 1768 and is just five minutes from downtown Knoxville, spans 47 acres and includes exquisite display gardens, the old Howell family home, a butterfly meadow, row gardens, stone terraces, walking trails, and historical horticulture.
