PINE BROOK, N.J. — Fujitsu General America Inc. held its sixth National Distributor Conference earlier this month in Boston, Massachusetts.
The conference was held at the Encore Boston Harbor Casino. Roughly 260 representatives and distributors attended.
The theme of the event was “(R)evolution,” a play on the words “revolution” and “evolution,” a Fujitsu press release said. Fujitsu is dedicated to providing industry-leading technology with environmental sustainability in mind while continuing to become easier to do business with, the press release said.
“The future is very bright for Fujitsu and our distribution network,” said Tomokazu Hosoi, president of Fujitsu General America. “We are excited about introducing our new R-32 products beginning in Q1 2025, as well as our new contractor portal, called Access. The heat pump industry is also experiencing tailwinds from the Inflation Reduction Act, so we’re very positive about the year to come.”
“The 2024 National Distributor Conference was the largest in our company history and is a testament to the commitment of our industry partners and the ability to Evolve in an ever-changing industry,” said Dennis Stinson, senior vice president of sales. “This alone proves that choosing the right partners matters.”
Between breakout and general sessions, attendees relaxed, visited Fenway Park, went offshore fishing, or toured historical sites in Boston. Keynote speaker Dave McGillivray, a runner, philanthropist, and past organizer of the Boston Marathon, spoke about his legendary athletic career and making an impact. Koji Masuda, president & CEO of Fujitsu General Limited, traveled from Japan to attend the event.
